How to print off a list of Topics I've posted in.

Hi,

Ages ago I printed off pages in Rootschat (before it was revamped) showing the topics I'd posted in. I found it useful as a reference to check I was not posting on the same subject twice.
I've since lost most of the pages and I'd like to do the same again but cannot find a way to produce the pages of posts as I did then.
It's a bit difficult to explain what I mean really so I have attached a copy of one of my old printouts to see if anyone can tell me if there's a way of producing similar lists of my posts again.

Hi Barbara,

That looks to me like you made an image of the e-mail notifications in your profile  (screen-shot ?) and printed it.

As far as I can see, there is no way of printing it directly, so you'll have to make do with screen-shots again.

This will only show those topics where you get e-mail notifications, not all the topics you have contributed to.

Sorry, that wasn't clear !  I meant that there is no button on the RootsChat page for printing, but you can also try printing it direct from the browser; I checked with "print => print preview" in Firefox and it looks fine.  You can only print one page of topics at a time, and because of the headers and footers each page displays as two pages in the preview, so you will need to remember to limit printing to the first page of what is shown, each time.

Yes, you're right,I think that when I printed my lists a few years ago I had Windows XP and I used the Alt/Print Screen method to print out the lists.

Now I have Windows 7 and the 'snipping tool' which I can use but I cannot see where to pull up a list of Topics that I've posted,  I know I must be missing the obvious.

If I pull up 'my posts' it does show them, but it also shows the content/text etc. and I was just hoping to get a list of the topic headings as I did before.

I think the only way I can do it is by tracing back through my posts, copying the Topic headings and pasting them into a Word document - what do you think?

It probably doesn't seem worth the trouble but I found it a really useful record to keep of the Topics I'd posted in.

If you click on PROFILE in the brown bar at the top  and then select  'Email Notifications' from the left side bar, you should get a list of the topics that you are getting notified about, as before.

I don't know if it helps but what I do is keep the (first) notification for a reply in a separate folder in my e:mail's in box. That gives me a searchable and clickable list of topics I have been interested in - sometimes I click "notify" just to get a message for my folder where the topic appears to have potential for future rather than immediate interest.

Also curious as to why gadget's house moves? Houseboat, Caravan, earthquake zone?
