4 Burton Street, Birkengead
« on: Friday 23 August 13 17:13 BST (UK) »
My mother lived at Burton Street, Birkenhead during 1914.
I cannot find this on the map so it has obviously gone.
Does any one know where this is ?

Also she lived at Raglan Terrace, Everton, Again I cannot find this.
Does anyone know where this is

Raglan Terrace is not marked, there are only eight houses, but from the census it appears to be in the area of Eastbourne Street, Radcliffe Street  http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html?coords=335786,391476

Raglan Terrace could be a row of houses on Westbourne Street.

Thanks Stan for pointing out where Raglan Terrace was. After a long search, during which it doesn't show on any maps, not even Ordnance Survey maps... I found your post and was able to finally locate it on the town planning map.

So thank you for taking the time to share this... even all these years later your post is still very valuable and much appreciated!

with very best wishes... Ruth  :)
