Abraham Hodges
« on: Saturday 24 August 13 19:21 BST (UK) »
I will be very surprised if anybody will be able to help me here but unless I try I won't know for certain.

I am looking for an Abraham Hodges baptism 1796 to try and find out his father.  On the 1851 he says he was from Reading in Berkshire or at least I think it was Reading as it appears to read Redding. Although on the 1841 and 1851 census his birth is 1796 it could be a couple of years either way.

Keeping my fingers crossed

Thank you Claire.t I would say that could very well  be him.  I really didn't think I would get a reply and this is much appreciated.  There are so many Hodges ending up in the London area that I am having difficulty sorting them out especially the two Abraham Hodges born around 1796 & 1799 and this has helped.

Once again Claire.t  thank you
