Has anyone heard of BIGGEN FIELD Fordham Cambridgeshire ? It appears as an address on the 1911 census. The family who I am doing research for have never heard of it. Hope someone can help

Thanks Copper

Have you looked at the enumerators lists for the census, they should give an idea as to where it was.

The 1901 has a Biggen Farm  RG13 piece 1542 folio 153 page 26  but it is the last property on that listing

I would imagine it is in the same place, certainly the postal address for Biggen Field on the 1911 is given as Newmarket Rd - maybe a farm cottage?

Janan that was where I first found Biggen Field, missed Newmarket Rd. Thanks. It is looking like Biggen Farm as you suggested.

Many thanks all, you roots chatters never let me down  :) ;)
