am trying to trace the family tree of reginald sylvester garrick - born 1915, in jamaica.  to a joel james garrick and jedidah white . can anyone provide me with some ancestry details?

Thank-you very much. I had found some of the children on familysearch.org but had no information about the parents so hopefully I can now make further progress.

After looking at the actual marriage certificate for Joel and Jedidah, I would say that the father was Samuel Garrick and not Laurel. I cannot find any other references to Laurel but there is a death certificate for Samuel in 1912 born in 1832. If anyone can locate the birth details for Joel, maybe I can get further

Gosh that is a lbad mistranscription by Familysearch Laurel/Samuel.

Joel Garrick would be Samuel Garrick's son and i believe Samuel Garrick was the son of John and Elizabeth Garrick. We're going back to the early 1800's here. My great grandfather was Francis Garrick and I believe that he and Samuel Garrick were brothers. John's details can be found on JamaicanFamilySearch.org  I haven't found birth details for Joel Garrick but I have seen his name as a witness for my great uncle Walton Garrick's wedding (his cousin).
