Marriage of John Evans & Sarah in Alberbury area around 1762

I am trying to verify the marriage of John Evans & Sarah ? about 1762 in Alberbury area - they had 4 sons baptised in Alberbury namely John (1763), Thomas (1765), Richard (1767) & Edward (1768).  Can anyone help me find this marriage?

Hi,
I have trawled through the Shropshire Family History Society's Marriage Index (Edition 1), some 1912 entries, and the ONLY marriage I could find is as follows:-
John EVANS married Sarah JONES at Baschurch, 11th November 1764.

John Evans married Sarah Ore on 18 Dec 1752 Pontesbury

Please excuse my ignorance but I've clicked on your link and scrolled through the Alberbury records and cannot locate the marriage entry for John Evans & Sarah Ore - can you explain where it is - thank you

John Evans married Sarah Ore in Pontesbury. It is not that far from Alberbury.
Not saying this is the correct marriage. But it is the only one I can find indexed. ( Familysearch.org )
The children's baptisms are in the Alberbury Parish. So I thought I would put a link.
Eyton I believe is in the Alberbury Parish.
