This is a long shot tom-dick

But when her sister married in 1936 she was a witness and shown as Helena Mildred Irvine LINK

There is a probate record for the death of a Vera Mildred Irvine in 1982
She died on Dec 31 1981 and the probate was issued to an Arthur Patrick McLean LINK
It is a pdf and you need to page down to the record (alphabetical)

Can anyone help me with this query.I am looking for the grandfather of helena. All I have on him is that he died in 1911,in Tullamore. His name was James Irvine and he was a sergeant in the R.I.C.If there is anyone who can look at his police record, that would be great.I think he served in Co.Wicklow at some point, thank you in advance, tom
