Hoping that someone may be able to confirm a death for me.  Alan Gordon Lott, born 1925 in Tasmania - possible death in 1999 in Clontarf, Queensland?  Any information about Alan and his life would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks all.

What is your source of info that he died in 1999 in Qld?  If it is from an online tree perhaps it would be better to contact the owner.

Queensland Deaths only extend to 1984.

His burial/cremation record is not on the Moreton Bay Regional Council database or the Brisbane City Council database.

Not familiar with all the Brisbane cemetery/crematorium records.

This MAY be the death of his wife as he on the electoral rolls living in Qld at the same address as....

Most definitely - only just finished downloading her death certificate.  She was cremated at Albany Creek Crematorium, so may explain why there is no burial for Alan if he too was cremated?

Someone has an online tree with the following
Married Margaret Edith WHITE in 1963 at Brisbane.   Seems odd that the info on the Qld Death index has her father as DOBBS.  What's on the death cert you have downloaded?

Name and surname of father: Cyril Wilson Dobbs
Name and maiden surname of mother: Edith Mary White
Two husbands to Margaret Edith White, one at age 20, at age 38 she marries Alan Gordan Lott

Well the compiler of the online tree has obviously made an error with his wife's surname.

Perhaps an enquiry may find his cremation record
