I have a few photos of John Cuffin but have not scanned them yet.  If someone would like to see them I will do so.

I saw a post in this threat listing Van as John Cuffin's middle name.  I've never heard of this before.  Van was my grandmother, Ethel's, middle name.  She passed away a few years ago.  I'm named after her obviously. I never did find out where the name comes from.  My aunts all claim John had no middle name.

and now it's official, my 3rd post  :)  I came across a book of poems by lillian moore jones called "my own arcadia".  In it were many post cards from what appears to be a cousin (perhaps Ms. Jones) and my grandmonther Ethel Cuffin (as well as a few to her parents Phoebe and Jack aka John Cuffin).  I know Phoebe's maiden name was Jones but I know nothing of Lillian Moore Jones or her poetry.  Just curious if you know any more information.

We’re there still questions regarding Ethel Van Cuffin Hinkel? I am her grand daughter and might be able to help. I see my brother Van already chimed in so hopefully you got information you needed.
