The 1927 manifest should list name and address of nearest relative in U.K. as well as contact details for someone in U.S.- have you gotten that information from both pages? if so, please post. if not, let us know.

Have you tried yet in searching U.S. census records? 1930 and 1940 both at www.familysearch.org as lots of other databases.

Have you checked 1911 Irish census yet? it's online (free)- http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
The only Patrick Gordon the right age range with a Fermanagh connection in 1911 that I can see is this one in Belfast-
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Antrim/Falls/Cawnpore_Street/172849/
However, it's possible Patrick wasn't in Ireland by 1911.

The place to start is the 1927 passenger list to find family details, etc.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

The New York Passenger List shows Patrick J Gordon born 1903 Inniskellen and aged 24 years on the Laconia.  Aunt Mrs Maginnis. 700 Argylll Street. Glasgow. Final Destination was listed at Patterson NJ. Contact was father N J Gordon, 411 Sussex Street, Patterson. NJ. Had been in the USA previously, was a sailor. (Scar on left arm)

The spelling of Patterson should be Paterson.
