It looks on the face of it that Alfred is the son of Ann Jane Rowland.

A possible for Alice in 1861: Dukinfield Ashton under Lyne:
RG 9; Piece: 2994; Folio: 81; Page: 21
Henry H Harrison  41 coal miner
Ann Harrison  38
Alice Harrison  6 b.Manchester (as per 1901 census)
Selina Harrison  3
Mary A Harrison  4
Rachael Howard  35 lodger
Hannah Taylor  42 lodger
Mathew Hague  37 lodger

Same family in 1871 Ashton under Lyne:
RG10; Piece: 4072; Folio: 14; Page: 20
Mother's maiden name may be Thorpe but you'd have to get a birth cert.

The Henry H says occupation weaver on the first marriage certificate. The census 1861 says coal miner ? there is another marriage for a Henry Harrison to a Ann flint Manchester .
