WW2 Royal Artillery William Greaves
« on: Sunday 20 October 13 22:08 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows anything of my grandad William Greaves in WW2. From what i remember he was a WO ll in the Royal Artillery 70th Field 46th Division (North Midland). I know he had medals but I don't know which ones. He was in North Africa and Italy. But I was wondering if any one had any photos, stories or just anything else to bring his character to life.

Many Thanks,
Shell

hi shell
not what you ask for but did you know you can apply for his service record go to www.veterans-uk.info from there you can download the forms and it gives you all the info on what you should receive you also need a death cert and it costsú30 , but if his wife is still alive she can get them for free .
