Keziah, good suggestion but he is Putt, checked him out on previous census

Really want to find Albert Edgar on 1901, he must be somewhere

Keziah & Louisa Maud,
WendyW260 has recovered.  Thank you so much for your inputs.

IMO based on current evidence:  Albert Edgar Putz born 1873, son of Samuel Putz and Emily Mills.  Emily born Hoxne.  Married Ann/Anne/Annie Mills who was born Hoxne in 1867 (4a 549).  Emily's father George Mills, mother Priscilla Huggins both born Hoxne.  Annie Mill's parents Robert and Harriet  Mills, both born Hoxne.   Both Samuel and Albert Putz married near London.

Keziah, please tell me it isn't true Robert and Harriet Mill's parents were also Robert & Harriet Mills.  I may be misunderstanding that post.  However, given the complications of this group I am open to the idea.

William Herbert Putz married Priscilla Helen Huggins in 1875 in Marylebone.  William was son of Samuel Putz above.  P. H. Huggins born Hoxne.  Her parents were Frederick Huggins and ...wait for it...Harriet Mills.  Two of their children, Rose and Ada, were baptised in Hoxne.

Albert Edgar Putz (the second) was born 1895 in Mile End.  His parents were (potentially Albert Edgar, the sailor, not clear this is the 1873 man.  His mother was "Anna").  He was in Hoxne for the 1911 census.  He married Margaret J. Bevan (date unknown).  In 1942, he lived in Burro Port, Wales, where his son was killed by a U.Boat.  He died in 1964 in Llanely, Wales.  On the 1911 he was listed as "Putzs."
Mysteriously, he is missing from most census forms even as a child.

In 1901 Anna Putz, born Hoxne in 1872 shows up on census for London. She is a single servant.  Assume she is Anna Mills born 1867 in Hoxne.  Will lookup 1901 for Albert Edgar Putz (the first one), they are prob. not together for whatever reason.  The 1901 for this Albert Edgar also proving elusive.

While mis-spellings are common, especially with the name Putz, I don't think the 1881 Putts in Wandsworth was related as Louisa Maud points out she identified that family on previous census.

In 1877 Ann Huggins, also daughter of Frederick and Priscilla Huggins had a daughter called Harriet Helen Maria Huggins.

In 1907 another Albert Edgar Putz was born and died as an infant.

Thank you both so much for all the connections here.  This family shows how intertwined this can be.  Truly head scratching.  Please let me know if anything else jumps out at you.  WendyW260.

Re: Family tree on Ancestry showing Albert Edgar Putz, born 1895, married to Lipsey.  Did not find any evidence for that outside of that suggestion.  Going to shelve that one.  WendyW260.

Hi Tony Huggins,
There are a lot of Huggins in Hoxne and Norfolk where your great grandfather was born.  See your challenges. Looks like your great grandfather, William moved from Burston in Norfolk to Hoxne.  Your Hoxne connection appears to be more through Amelia then her husband David Huggins who was born in Botesdale it seems.  Huggins families seem to cross over between Suffolk and Norfolk.  There are a lot of Maria Huggins listed for Hoxne, for instance, and some of them seem to be from Norfolk or born in Hoxne and moved to Norfolk (Maria Huggins married James Huggins, she born in Hoxne and lived in Norfolk on 1861 census).  Not saying they are related to your people, just shows how the flow went.  I saw this link http://genforum.genealogy.com/englandcountry/suffolk/messages/980.html  don't know if this or the poster can help you.  You have prob seen it.  My understanding is the Hoxne area, and Suffolk, was in hard times in early 1800's as corn prices tanked and taxes went up.  Prob led to movement as people looked for work.  Think that's how my Huggins ancestors from Hoxne ended up marrying into London families where they got matriculated into their married names.  Good luck with your hunt for family connections, they will come out and find you eventually!  WendyW260.

Hello Wendy - not true Robert MILLS & Harriet HUGGINS (nee MILLS wife of Fred Huggins) are the children of James & Harriet MILLS.

Hi Wendy
It seems between us and Keziah we might have solved a few problems except the elusive Albert Edgar born 1895 in Mile End, I have tried just putting in his christian name, just year of birth but nothing pops out on 1901,  is there a possibility he was with other relatives  in 1901, I would dearly love to find him for you,  he obviously was taken in by an aunt and uncle on a later census which, Wendy, you already have details of, he is very elusive, Well I live in hopes he will be found
