(my late) dad on horse age 10: cleanup please?

Hi all

would love a cleaned up version please of My dad on a horse taken just before WW2. Its got a few scratches and marks but hopefully should come up OK.

My first attempt at restoring anyone's photo. There's only so much you can do about the noise, so I did what i could and focused on fixing tones, shadows and contrasts.

I didnt realise how much noise there is on this pic, I now appreciate this would have been very time consuming, thank you one and all for working on this photo.
