Can't help with Maggie but here is a second marriage for Gladys...

At Boyleton Massachusetts 08 Aug 1938, Gladys Winifred (Beames) Richards age 39 of Wilkes Barre Pa to Albert Arthur Stocke/Stocks age 60 also of Wilkes Barre Pa. The record doesn't indicate whether Gladys was widowed or divorced, just that it is her second marriage. Her parents Henry and Sarah Ann (Workman).

1940 census has name as Stocks, also possible death index.
