Wills

Please does anyone know how you can obtain a copy of a will?  I know probate was granted in 1958 and I would love to see a copy of the will, it is my unmarried great-uncle and I would like to know who the beneficiaries were, but I have no idea where to begin!
Thanks

If you are thinking of applying in person in London, the probate registry has just moved to Court 38, Royal Courts of Justice, in the Strand.

They still offer a 48 hour service, ie pay and apply one day, collect 2 days later.

(you haven't updated your profile so don't know if you are able to make a daytrip to London)

Thank you for your replies, great,  I was just looking at the link and down loading forms!  No, I can't go in person as I live in France, so will have to do it by post. Thanks so much for coming back so quickly, that is very kind.

You have to pay by cheque in sterling, they don't take credit cards.
