Hi Jeanette,

Alan from the Wednesday group writing. Getting you on RootsChat has certainly opened up a multitude of possibilities.

I hope this is not a red herring but when we first started chasing the elusives, I found:

NSW State Records:
Mary Louisa Wright  age 7  Randwick Asylum and therefore would be 27 when Mary Louise Browne
was born.
Dated 15/1/1868

Does anyone think this can be a connection ?

Also, we found an Alphonsus Trainor born 1910 in Coonamble and dying 1927 in Canowindra.
A Mary Trainor then marries in 1928.
Alphonsus married & dead by age 17 !!

Thank goodness there are more perspective people than me who are helping.

See you Wednesday morning, maybe.

Hi Alan,

Thank you so much for your assistance, very much appreciated.

I feel sure that with every ones help and input, I will track down my Mary Louise Browne.

I am exploring and following up on a couple of other bits of info.

Thanks.

Jeanette.

I just wanted to keep you informed as to my progress.

I have sent for the Full Transcription - Death Certificate - for Mary Wright/Brown/Hildred.

I am hoping this will finally give me the answers to which I am seeking.

Thanks.

Jeanette.

Hi There,
I have been researching for my family tree. Mary Louise Ingram was my great grandmother and Thomas Ingram was my great grandfather.

After reading the posts my research has been fairly accurate however there are some gaps with my father and his siblings. I have been told that on the Browne and Ingram sides I have ancestry to the Warajiri indigenous people of the area and need any help finding this link and the link is with Mary Louise. I have a family tree on my heritage and some info on wikitree.

As the information is sensitive it has probably been covered up but I am determined to find my heritage.

This would make you, Jeanette my great aunt I think  :)

Look forward to hearing from you.
Susan

Hi Susan,
   Welcome to rootschat  :)

I'm sorry that no-one else has welcomed you or replied to your post.

Hopefully Jeanette will be along soon ... she should have been notified of your post.  It would be lovely if you two can connect and exchange information.   Maybe Alan can facilitate this,

Ros

To explain,

I met Jeanette while volunteering at a senior citizens computer group. I have not seen her for more than a year and my only contact with her is through this forum. As you see from my posting yesterday, I am encouraging her to get in contact with Scoulter. I hope she does.

:)  Jeanette has not been online since February this year, and as per her profile she has not posted on any thread since December 2014:

As Scoulter has now made to two posts Sue/Susan should be able to use all the facilities of RootsChat and be able to send a Private Message to Jeanette.   :D

Scoulter, RChat is a great place for help with any of your family history enquiries.  I have quite a few offline resources for NSW in the era from first settlement through to WWII, particularly for rural/regional/remote NSW.

You mention Indigenous background ... there is an RChatter here who may have information or tips or clues for some of your quest :  https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=524347.0   I realise Warren is not Armidale or New England, but the original poster may well have some tips to help.
