Assuming that the Mrs INGRAM in the wedding announcement is your Mary and still known as Mrs INGRAM of Dubbo when her son marries in 1928 but then there is the marriage in 1928 in Sydney.   Perhaps it is not your Mary Louise BROWN/E marrying in 1928.

Some certs are needed.

Ah Ted you have added the second link later.... ;)

The Leader, Orange 29 Mar 1913

Thomas Harris and Mary Louisa Ingram pleaded not guilty to a charge of receiving a child aged 2 years from the lawful custody of Catherine Ingham. The Crown Prosecutor said he made inquiries, and the Crown would be satisfied if accused were bound over in their own recognisances to come before any court the Attorney-General might appoint. Both accused were then discharged on these conditions.

Speculating that there MAY (and of course may NOT) be a connection :

NSW ER 1903 CANOBLAS, polling at Peak Hill
Anthony Charles BROWNE overseer Curra Station, Roseneath

Re Curra Station …. relying on grey cells, I think this would probably be known as Murrumbong or Murrambong, on the road out of Wellington that goes to Parkes.

As mentioned earlier by Cando and by Dundee, the NSW BDM marriage cert 1909 (or official transcript) will give you the details that both the bride and the groom provided when being interviewed prior to their marriage.  That information includes details about their respective parents…. For example even the maiden name of the bride’s mum…  and of course, when and where the bride was born  :) and  details about the bride's dad too    ;D

Cheers,  JM

Sad death of Roy Australia Ingram (a Dubbo native)  in 1930  - mentions Mrs Burchett of Macquarie St is his mother.

http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article113683484

So she is Mrs Burchett by 1930

Lots more articles on the death ...

Thanks Debra....didn't try to find out who the son was but now realise any chn of Thomas and Mary would be far too young to be marrying in 1928. :-[  ::)
