Searching Mary Louise Browne - Married in Warren NSW 1909
« on: Tuesday 12 November 13 23:36 GMT (UK) »
I am searching for her Birth/Parents. Mary was born at Peak Hill NSW  around 1887. She married Thomas Ingram at Warren on 8 March 1909.

She died in Dubbo in 1981 with the surname Burchett.

Her children, all deceased, were William, Roy and Jessie.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you,

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette

Welcome to Rootschat.

Have you tried searching  www.bdm.nsw.gov.au

This should give you some more information about her parents and spouse/s.

Cheers
Karenlee

NSW Marriage

15121/1928
BURCHETT, HENRY
TRAINOR, MARY L
Registered at SYDNEY

The 1930 electoral roll has Henry and Mary Louisa at Spicer Creek, and from 1937 onwards they are at Dubbo.  Henry (Harry) died in 1960.  I cannot see a previous marriage for Mary to a TRAINOR.

The 1909 marriage certificate should give parents' names, age, and place of birth.

In NSW you can order transcriptions of certificates which are certainly cheaper than purchasing a certified certificate and the information is the same.
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/bdm_fh.html#transcription

I will have a search of the 1913 NSW Electoral Roll to see if I can find Mary with her first husband.

There is a file for a Thomas INGRAM aged 36 of Dubbo in 1915 on http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/search/index.aspx  It has not been digitised but if you wish you could purchase it as the status is Open.
