No that's great.   I'm tracing my uncle's family, he was John Ll Davies, born 1902.   I knew the names of 3 of his siblings but have only recently discovered his parents, William George Davies and Martha Rees.   My next task is tracing William George........

This is the correct family as 3 of my uncle's siblings were unmarried and still lived at Newbridge, Wiston, until their deaths in late 20th century.

A William George Davies married a Martha Rees at Spittal on the 28 Jul 1895.

As you are probably aware in 1911 William & Martha reside at New Bridge Crundale having been mrd for 16 years.

William G. Davies was I believe born at Wiston in 1869, however he is one of those rare persons whose baptism only took place later. Research suggests he was baptized at Wiston on the 3rd March 1889.

I suspect that by 1881 William Geo Davies lives at Spring Gardens Spittal the son of Wm & Margaret Davies a Carpenter. The lightly hood being Wm Davies had married Margaret Vaughan in mid 1861.

Its up to you to decide if the above fits your requirements.

Whilst at the R.O. today I had a look at that baptism I mentioned and there is no indication that the William George Davies baptised 3rd Mar 1889 was an adult, plus he was the son of George & Elizabeth Davies. So recommend you ignore my suggestion.

I also noted that the mrge of William Davies to Martha Vaughan in 1861 did not take place at Spittal.
