Souldern marriage look-up please
« on: Thursday 21 November 13 18:38 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
Would anyone be able to look up the following marriage for me?

Date: 15 Dec 1828
Place: Souldern
Groom: George LAKE or LEAK
Bride: Alice HALE

I have the familysearch record, but I particularly want to know the marital status of the participants, if given; also names of witnesses might be useful.

Many thanks in advance.

George Lake(widower of the parish), to Alice Hale(of Kings Sutton, Northants).

15 Dec 1828. by Banns.

Witnesses - Charles Turner & Esther Lake.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maybe his first marriage. ;)
George Lake to Esther Horwood( of Newton Purcell).
19 Dec 1823. by Banns.
Witnesses - William Dews & Rebecca Hitchcock.
Can't see a burial for Esther Lake in Souldern, except for one, 14 June 1833, a married woman. ???
