John -

I think the birth reference is:

Charles Laurens   (St Lawrence, Coin Hatains)
23 October 1825, fils de Henry et Elizabeth

This is the only one Charles Laurens in St Lawrence, and I could not find a relevant entry in St Saviour.  As I happen to live in St Lawrence, just opposite he church, please let me know if there is anything you might be interested in finding in the graveyard etc.).

In the 1841 census, St Lawrence,  I have also found:

LAURENS
Henry   55   farmer  born: Jersey
Betsey  55
George  21
Abraham  17
Charles 16
Elizabeth  14

and in 1851, St Lawrence:

LAURENS
Betsey  head  wid  65  landed proprietor 5 acres   Born: St Lawrence
Nancy  daugh  Unm   35  charwoman  St Lawrence
George  son  unm  29  mason  St L
Charles   son  unm  25  plasterer  St L
Betsey  daugh  unm  23  charwoman   St L

and in 1871 - St Helier:  (in the one household)

LAURENS
Charles  head  marr 46  upholsterer  St Lawrence
Mary  wife  marr 47    St Lawrence
Charles  son  13  scholar  St Helier
COLLINS
Elizabeth  sister-in-law  unm  38 Tailoress St lawrence
Jane  sister-in-law   36  unm  tailoress St lawrence
