George Bernard McPate

I am looking for any information on George Bernard McPate who emigrated to New Zealand, in 1927 at the age of 17, on the RUAHINE, from Southampton, England to Wellington. I believe he was in Otago in 1954.

Also there's a Violet Frances Lyall McPate b. 21 June 1913 d. 1990 - widow?

 shows them both on the 1938 electoral register.  Can't see a marriage - probably sometime in the 1930s after the end of the online public indexes.

Charles Bernard McPate, civil servant. (1967)

Violet Frances Lyall McPate, widow,. (1990) This one in particular may provide names of their children.

There are only three entries for the name of McPate in the New Zealand "White Pages":

One in Mosgiel, (near Dunedin)

One in South Dunedin, &

One in Oamaru.
