Jews in Warsaw
« on: Wednesday 27 November 13 14:17 GMT (UK) »
I know that Warsaw has recently set up various museums & websites to commemorate their Jewish population. My problem is that my ancestor is first seen in Britain in 1820. I don't think the current Jewish cemetery in Warsaw was founded until then & , of course, there are quite a lot of resources available concerning the ghetto under the Nazis. I don't know if my ancestor came to Britain or with his family.

Has anyone an tips for someone born 1780/1800 ?

Thanks
