George Irwin/Irving and Isabella Collin/s of Flimby
« on: Sunday 01 December 13 18:05 GMT (UK) »
Hi!
Can anyone shed light on the following?

I have a George Irwin or Irving born around 1765 and possibly being buried at Flimby in 1814? He married at Flimby Isabella Collin or Collins on 4 November 1787.

Isabella Collin was baptised at Flimby on 14 November 1769 daughter of Henry Collin (Mariner) and his wife Frances. Isabella had a brother John baptised at Flimby on 27 January 1772.

The only reference I can find for a Henry and Frances Collin or Collins is that of a marriage on 10 June 1755 at Dearham and they had four children at Dearham - Peter 1756 - 1757, Ann 1757, Catherine 1758 and Henry 1759 - 1759?

George Irwin/Irving and Isabella had Frances 1796, Maryport, William 1798, Joseph 1800, Bella 1804 and George 1807 all at Flimby.

Any help much appreciated! :)
