Sisters of Charity/Daughtes of Charity.

Great-aunt was a Nun - a Sister of Charity. Has the Order now changed its name to Daughters of Charity and if it has when did the change occur.
Also how did they manage to get the headwear (wimpole ????) to stick up at the sides.

I was taught by Sisters of Charity at a convent.  http://www.sgm.qc.ca/en/main-nav/who-we-are/grey-nuns-of-montreal/   Do not remember hearing any reference to Daughters of Charity.

They are two different orders.

The Sisters of Charity http://www.rsccaritas.ie/our-history

The Daughters of Charity http://www.daughtersofcharity.org.uk/  are the ones who wore the cornette.
