Hi, it's a bit of a long shot I'm afraid - I have him in the later census details but wonder if anyone could look him up for me in 1851 -

Arthur Pugh born 1831 or poss 1833-in later census returns he has been a railway porter and hawker - he has stated he was born in Nadwell, Shropshire, Ealing and Haston Shropshire.  From 1861 onwards he has lived in the Ancoats area of Manchester

His father was Thomas Pugh.
