Hi Spanish Lady, There is a marriage for an Isaac Baden Powell and Gwladys Elizabeth Thomas on the 22 Jan 1920 at Llantwit Fardre which is near Pontypridd and possibly in that Registration District.
Also there is a Baptism in Jan 1921 at Llantwit Fardre of a Mary Elizabeth Powell, parents as above.
Is this the ones you are looking for?
Best wishes Rowley

Hello, I’ve just come across this blog and recognised the names immediately. My grandfather is George Harry Powell (known as Harry), brother of Mary Elizabeth Powell. Harry is still alive (he’s 96 today!) and has recently talked of Llantwit Fadre, so it was in my notes. He now has dementia so it’s difficult to get the information I seek. He moved with his parents to Western Australia when he was barely 2 years old.
I would love to start tracing the family and learning all the stories (warts & all!)
Can anyone help get me started?
