Hi to all

Thanks for all your efforts

The James Edward Fairhead and Eliza Harper are from the Norfolk / Suffolk boarder area (Jame's father is William Edward Fairhead) they married in Q2 1887.

The other pairing of James and Eliza Fairhead are from the reg. district of Smallburgh (north of Norwich). Mary Ann Fairhead born 1873 is their daughter.
I also believe that the male fairhead that was born and died in 1880 in the district of smallburgh is more than likely the son of James and Eliza of smallburgh due to location. (posted kindly by ChrissieL ).

Still hunting

This maybe the missing child of James Edward Fairhead and Eliza Harper from the 1911 census but i am wondering if anyone can look up the baptism and burial to shed more light on it or i may have to get a birth / death cert. The person i am looking at is:- Charles Edward Fairhead Born Q1 1878 in Hoxne District and Died Q3 1880 in Hoxne district. I suspect that he will be found in the Weybread parish or Mendham parish.

I suspect that he maybe the person as his sister Beatrice has a son when she was unmarried and she called him Charles Edward Fairhead (my grandfather).

Also has anybody got an actual marriage date for James Edward fairhead and Eliza Harper married in Hoxne in Q2 1877. again i think this is in either Weybread or Mendham parishes.

many thanks

Steve

Many many thanks for the info. I have just spoken to my mum and she is delighted with what you have prooven. She has always wondered why / where her fathers name came from and you have just put the last piece of the jigsaw into place.
