Hi Cecile,

Your search is probably hindered by the very strict privacy laws in Canada.  There are no Central registries/indexes in Canada for BMDs. Unfortunately there are no firm dates for the deaths of William Robert and his wife Margaret which might have helped locating obituaries which could have helped with a few names of relatives.
Margaret's death appeared to be in Aurora, the Aurora library has an "ask the librarian" link, would that be worth a try

Aurora is an affluent town in York Region in the Greater Toronto Area, within the Golden Horseshoe of Southern Ontario. It is located north of the town of Richmond Hill and is partially situated on the Oak Ridges Moraine.

Montreal Public Library was one of the best two in the World, according to a new international report, even though you have no exact date,  that could also be worth another avenue to explore.

Haven't found the family in 1921 yet 

This could be your Fraser family in 1921. Living at 1241 De Laroche in Montreal - St Denis Ward. The surname has been transcribed as France but it looks like Frazer or Fraser on the actual image.

Have had a look at that and it does seem to be them. As you say, you can see Fraser is spelt Frazer but it certainly looks like the family I am looking for.
