Cissie Gray
« on: Saturday 21 December 13 14:29 GMT (UK) »
I am wondering when Cissie Gray died. She was born Elizabeth Fraser in 1899 in Liverpool and emigrated to Canada with her brother and mother about 1910 I think. I know she married Percy Gray but I don't know if they had any children or when she died. Although her name was Elizabeth apparently she was known as 'Cissie'.
Many thanks
Cecile

Think your Fraser family appear on the 1911 Canadian Census - 1899 Dufferin Parc Amherst Laval Quebec.

Elisabeth Fraser  40 Born Eng. Immigrated 1910.
William R Fraser  8 Born Eng. Immigrated 1910.
Elisabeth Fraser  10 Born England. Immigrated 1910.

Haven't found the family in 1921 yet  :-\

Found anc tree which says William Robert Fraser died 1996 Montreal Quebec.  Wife Magaret H Davies died 1998 Aurora Ontario. (No sources given  :'()  Obit would be handy - believe couple had a son.
Same anc tree says Elizabeth Fraser (nee Lightfoot died in Canada 1934 - no source)

William Robert Fraser (exec) and Mrs Margaret Helen Fraser appear on the Canada Voters List 1957/62/68 - Mont Royal Quebec (48 Stratford Road) Also a Mrs May Agnes Davies - retired at the same address. (Mother of Margaret  ??? )

Thank you for that Sandra. I wondered what had happened to 'Cissie' and whether they had any family. As you have mentioned. her brother did have a child, a son I think, I have seen something in a family tree and although I have tried to contact the person researching the tree on numerous occasions, I have not had any reply.
Thanks again
Cecile
