Photographs on Screensaver or wallpaper
« on: Sunday 22 December 13 14:31 GMT (UK) »
I'm a bit of a dummy when it comes to resolutions, pixels and sizing photographs.....it just doesn't seem to sink in .. can somebody please tell me what size canvas is the best when you want to put pictures on your computer screen.  I'm trying to blend two school photographs together for my daughter to put on her computer  and my mind's gone completely blank.  I have have Photoshop and use to use it quite a lot ... but can't seem to get back into it ... memory's gone.
Thank you

There are various "standard" size images for Wall Papers it depends on if the monitor is Full Screen or Wide Screen. The following sizes seem to be the most popular at the moment..

Full Screen
1024 x 768 pixels

Widescreen
1280 x 800 pixels
1920 x 1080 pixels

Make sure that you keep your DPI's as high as you to keep the clarity and resize the image to suit the Canvas.
