Hey Claire,
Joseph Lindon according to the 1841 census was in warwickshire.  He was married to Phebe (or Phoebe) Fletcher and had three kids John Lindon 16, Benjmin and Esther .  Esther died in 1952. I just cant go back past him cause there is no info I can find. Thankyou for any help. Ta Anne B :)

If you don't have his baptism 1791 how do you know his father was named John??

Hi Annette,
I came across the name John in another tree that I was matching clues from. (Ancestry.com) I have since stopped looking for it as it was a narrow view to follow, and do you know how many John Lindons there are????!!!! So am back to getting basics.  If you can offer help I am grateful!!!

All I can add right now is that in 1851 Joseph's youngest son Benjamin is shown as nephew to a William Lyndon bc.1791 Solihull, Warwickshire.    Solihull baptisms appear to be on familysearch but cannot see a William or Joseph Lindon/Lyndon there in the required time frame.

Looks like both Joseph and Phoebe died around the same time - both deaths recorded as Lyndon in Dec.qtr.1850 Solihull (which was regn. district for Tanworth).
