Bramley/Valentine marriage

We have in our family records a marriage between Wm Valentine of Melton Mowbray and an Alice Bramley of Rempstone in Rempstone Church 24/3/1824. If anyone can confirm that we would be grateful.

I have tried to find out what happened to them but not very successfully. There is a widowed William Valentine, a shoemaker, who I have found in the 1861 census (RG9 2300 p31) and in the 1881 (RG11 3182 52 but I can't find him anywhwere else, nor find Alice anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated

Looks like Alice may have died shortly after her wedding.

It looks as if after she was promoted to Housekeeper she imported some young relatives as maids.
