HERLIHY family of Melbourne

I am trying to trace the descendants of Patrick HERLIHY (1859 - 1933) and Mary CLIFFORD (1859 - 1898).  They had 4 children who lived to adulthood:

Patrick HERLIHY (1888 - 1954) m Ruby Atkinson
Daniel Clifford HERLIHY (1890 - 1967) m Eileen May ?
Eileen m Frank HUSSEY (1893 - 1908)
John Martin HERLIHY (1894 - 1961)

I am descended from Mary CLIFFORD's sister, Catherine.

I have the names of some of their descendants, but need to clear up a few family mysteries.

Daniel HERLIHY was buried at Fawkner 14 April 1967.  There is a burial of an Eileen M HERLIHY also at Fawkner 29 December 1966.  I cannot get the map to load so can't see if these two are together.

I think the dates you have given for the daughter Eileen are incorrect?

This seems to be the marriage for Daniel

And this is probably her death registration so it seems possible that the lady buried at Fawkner is her. (Death registration may not have been recorded until the January of 1967 as her burial was late in December 1966)

For your records, the daughter born in 1893 was registered ELLEN not EILEEN, though she may well have changed it.

There is not a marriage in Vic for HERLIHY to HUSSEY.

Ellen was young when her mother died and one wonders who brought her up with her siblings.

Father Patrick was "whereabouts unknown for many years" in 1915 when his son John Martin enlisted in the forces for ww1.  His brother Patrick Lawrence gave permission as John was under age.

There are some men named Patrick HERLIHY on the Electoral Rolls perhaps he is one of them
