So on March 27th, as well as the children of worthy citizens which are entered boldly in the register, the vicar also baptised Scowcroft's child and Monck's wench's child?

Or it refers to the chr of William son of Rose Hodson.

Child is illegitimate. Vicar suspects it is Scrowcrofts child.

Rose herself was illegitimate, and vicar suspects Monke was her father!

I read it as William son of Roger Hodson - written as Rog with a little squiggle to indicate 'er'
