« on: Monday 20 June 05 16:08 BST (UK) »
Searching for John Maldwyn Evans b 1867 in Penegoes. Married Anne Evans in 1889, in Machynlleth. (Evans was her single and married surname). Cannot find parents of either so any info would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

You need to request an 1871 census look up to find John living with his parents.  Penegoes is in Radnorshire so you would need to post your request on that Board.

The same applies for his wife Anne.  Machynlleth was Cardiganshire so again, post your request on that Board.

You could also try looking up their births in the following sites:

Hope this helps.

You had me worried there! According to the census Machynlleth is also Montgomeryshire although the bounderies may have changed.
Thanks for your message
