Not much information to go with here- is this connected to your previous topic for Johnstones in Offaly?

Have you found any of the people you are looking for in the 1901 and 1911 census records? If you can fill in names and dates we might be able to help.

Notice that you've the surname as Johnstone here but Johnston on earlier topic so not sure which is correct but have posted a possible topic. Best to keep all details on one thread rather than having two topics.

The latest available Irish census is 1911 - it and 1901 (first complete census for all Ireland) are online (free)- Offaly was formerly King's Co.

However, unless you have further details it will be very difficult to find the correct Thomas Johnston.

As I mentioned, it's best to keep all details on one thread- you can click on 'report to moderator' and ask for the two to be merged (and perhaps renamed to avoid any more confusion).

Also, remember not to post details of anyone who might still be living.

Do you know Vera's mother's name and where she was born - There is an entry in the birth index on family search for a Vera T P Johnston born in 1932 Manorhamilton registration district with Mother surname Sexton. A long shot but might be a possibility.
