Can somebody please help with finding detail for:

John Lewis, b 1818, St David's (baptism)

He married Jane ?? (surname unknown) in the early 1840's. I suspect this was also in St Davids.

Their daughter Doris Lewis, was born 1847, St Davids.

I would appreciate help 'fleshing' out details for the above.

There is a John Lewis born 1818 living at 21 New Street Pembrokeshire ( Master Tailor ) with wife Jane 35, Mary Ann 9,Martha 7, with a Dora 5, George 3, Benjamin 1 all born in St Davids Pembrokeshire is this the family

Familysearch has a marriage of John Lewis to Jane Joseph 12 sept 1841 at St Davids, source Pembrokeshire parish registers, this marriage is on freebmb haverfordwest registration district.

there are other john lewis and jane   marriages in Pembrokeshire tho'.

I do know that the John Lewis I'm after was a tailor.

I do believe you have all the information - confirmed by the fact I have John as a tailor in the 1861 census and still living in New St, St Davids.

Further to the previous post - has anyone access to John Lewis' and Jane Joseph's baptism records?

This might be John ....John son of William Lewis ( tailor ) and Jane whose maiden name was Price was born Pembroke dock on the 8th of December 1820 was baptised June 10th by me Can't make the minister's name out ....England & Wales Non Conformist and Non Parochial Registers ..The best thing would be to look for a death certificate to confirm parent's

 Also  the marriage in St Davids js on freebmd so buying the cert. should give both fathers names and Johns occupation  (hopefully tailor)
