I think I know a bit about you my nan Joan said that she had relatives in St Albans who had a factory of some sort
And I still live in clerkenwell

Terry, john jack henry swinton was my dads brother.  I have jjh swinton,b 0609/1917, holborn.  d 1989 in hackney.regards Mick

jjh Swinton did marry a Joan Ashby, have asked my elder sister Maureen if she knew were tompion house comes into the equation, somehow rings a bell!! re st albans, this is where my wife and i still live!!

EC1oes  mean anything to you . also the factory/business in st albans, any idea what sort of business it was and any dates as i could do some local searches in library,regards mick

Him in smiths
Her in a knife cleaning place
In St Albans I don’t know much had factory thru 60/70’s and early eighties don’t know what they did though

i was brought up on bourne estate!! small world.i have a  pics of Joan at my sis Maureens webbing at South Oxhey. Jack Maureen said was round back of church having a fag!!if you let us have e mail, will forward to you Terry.
