Power Family Tramore Quillia
« on: Sunday 02 February 14 16:34 GMT (UK) »
In the 1841 Census Abstracts

Nicholas Power
wife Margaret
children Ed,Kate,Mary,Bridget,Ellen Ana Michael

I am almost sure that Michael is my great great grandfather. He was in Merthyr Wales in 1861 and married Ann Morgan in 1863. By 1881 the family somehow changed their name to Powell. I know this is true because the story was passed down the family. I am wondering if anyone else is doing research . I think some of the remaining family went to America because somebody was researching them on Ancestry?H
