Baptism Lookup in Overbury

A William Walby has given his place of birth on the 1851 Census as Overbury in Worcestershire and from his age, the event should have taken place in about 1772/3.

If anybody has access to the Overbury parish registers, I'd be very interested to know who William's parents were.

Hi Diblet

I've checked the Overbury parish register for Walby baptisms  between 1770 and 1777. The only one is for William Walby on 28 December 1777, parents Thomas and Betty Walby. There's no indication of William's age at the time of his baptism.

That's very useful information and I thank you very much for taking the time looking it up for me.
It shows that William Walby did know where he was born even if his age is slightly out.
I can now try to find out more about Thomas and Betty Walby.
