Mary Ann Smith born abt 1846
« on: Tuesday 04 February 14 08:12 GMT (UK) »
Mary Ann Smith born abt 1846 Farlam.
Mother of William Smith born 1867 illegitimate, believe Christening to be 29 December 1867 at Farlam.

Does anyone have access to The Parish Chest Brampton area to see if Mary Ann applied for funding or anything after the birth of William.

Also think I have her parents as William Smith and Margaret ? but cant find a Marriage for them.
I have no other info on them, I'd love to know more or to know where to look.

I have ordered Mary Ann death cert - Mary Ann Armstrong, this might give me more info.

Thanks for reading my post.

Marriage Date:25 Nov 1848
Spouse:Margaret Thirlwell

but there is this one

I have more information regarding the Smith/ Armstrong family from Farlam Cumbria. I have direct relations to William and indeed Mary Ann Smith.
