Hello BridgetM
Apologies I forgot to check the baptism prior to 1920 for you, I had a note in my folder and overlooked it, will look for you tomorrow.
I did find this marriage which could be a daughter to John Henry Machell, born abt 1915:
Samuel Whalley 25 Wire Drawer Bachelor of Tughill, Sandy Lane, Sankey
married 25.09.1937 St Mary, Great Sankey, Lancashire
Ann Machell 22 Single No Occupation Listed of 84 Broadbent Avenue, Warrington
Groom's father: James Henry Whalley, Plate Setter
Bride's father: John Henry Machell, Moulder
Witness: William Whalley, Kathleen Machell
I will check the baptisms prior to 1920 for St Peter, Warrington.

Thank you so much, marthaannie.  I think Kathleen is also John Henry's daughter, but I haven't found a birth registered for either Ann born about 1915 or Kathleen?

Good morning Bridget M
Checked the baptisms at St Peter's, Warrington from 1st January 1915 to end of 1924,
no Machells listed.  Could they have moved after their marriage and had the baptisms in a different church?
If Florence had a child before marriage, on her marriage certificate it gave her home address as Latchford.
If you would like another church checking please ask.

Thank you so much, marthaannie!  On the marriage cert John Henry Machell is a soldier.  Perhaps he and his wife left the country after the marriage?  I'm not sure how likely that would be?

Good morning BridgetM
I have ordered the marriage LICENCE for you for John Henry Machell (Soldier) and Florence Miller on 26th August 1915.  I hope it holds more information for you.
It is going to be the first week in April before it arrives, as the marriage licence you require  for 1915 is stored in the salt mines in Winsford.  Up to about the year 1900 are held at Chester Record Office.
I will have it copied and will scan and email to you.
