Mary (Molly) Warden
« on: Thursday 06 February 14 03:44 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I am hoping to find some information about Mary (Molly) Warden, aho died in StMarylebone in March 1971.
She was born in Australia in 1905 and travelled to London in 1935. I do know that she was a Musician.
Any information about where she is buried and how she died would be great.

              Regards   Dexter.

This appears to be her death reference: Mary Warden
Birth Date:   30 Mar 1905
Date of Registration:   Mar 1971
Age at Death: 66
Registration district:St  Marylebone
Vol 5d    Page:   2311

You can order the death certificate from the ONS using this reference.  I don't know any other way to find out what she died of.  As for where she's buried, that's really tricky.  It might be St Marylebone Cemetery which I think is in Finchley.  You'd need to contact the cemetery to see if they will do a search (some cemeteries charge for this - having a death date will help).  Of course she might have been cremated, or buried in a family plot somewhere.
Chowns in Buckinghamshire
Broad, Eplett & Pope in St Ervan/St Columb Major, Cornwall
Browning & Moore in Cambridge, St Andrew the Less
Emms, Mealing & Purvey in Cotswolds, Gloucestershire
Barnes, Dunt, Gray, Massingham in Norfolk
Higho in London
Matthews & Nash in Whichford, Warwickshire
Smoothy, Willsher in Coggeshall & Chelmsford, Essex

There's  also  a  crematorium   within the grounds  of  St Marylebone Cemetery ( or East Finchley Cemetery   as  it  is  known   )

Thank you for the information you sent it will give me a starting point.
You suggested to order a certificate from the ONS, as I am from Australia could you explain what ONS stands for.

                   Regards  Dexter.
