The P R O N I Wills Calendar shows a will index in 1926 for William Hewitt died Dec 1925 of Mulladry and left his estate to W James Rountree and Wilson Stanley ,both these men can be found in Mulladry on the 1911 Census as Williams neighbours. related ? as we do not have access to the North of Ireland death index after 1922 i dont know how old this William was when he died, the William Hewitt father of Augusta would have been approx 78 yrs old at this time.

William Hewitt did not 'leave his estate' to William James Rountree & Wilson Stanley- they were likely executors of the estate, applied for and were granted probate to sort out his estate.
"Hewitt William of Mulladry county Armagh farmer died 28 December 1925 Probate Belfast 26 October to Wilson Stanley and William James Rountree farmers. Effects £63."
PRONI, Belfast will have the paperwork, including Will, in their archives.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

My husband is descended from Elizabeth Ann Parke of Ballinamore.  She is most likely related to your Joseph Parke.  Eliza's parents were William Parke and Elizabeth Taylor Parke of Ballinamore.  My question is:  how are they related?  Eliza married Robert Charles Colhoun on 8 Feb 1872 and they moved immediately to Canada...Fenelon Falls, Ontario.

What, if anything, do you know about the Parkes?

Hi there,

If you're related to Agusta Hewitt, then we are distant relatives. My grandad was William Brooke Hewitt, who was the son of James Hewitt (Agusta Hewitt's brother). I don't have much more information that you already have. Agusta and James had a brother who died when he was 2, that's pretty much all I know.

If you find anything more, please let me know!
