Most likely to have been buried in Canada.

You can look for a burial at this link.

A notice of Wilfred William Middleton's death (on 1 Aug 1917) appeared in the Belleville Intelligencer, according to the "Deaths 1900-1960" link on this page from the Belleville Library:

An email address for the library is also provided - they may be able to provide further information.

Hi John,

Could you please indicate where William Wilfred was born. I am finding records for Leicestershire.

Please let us know so we are all looking for the right man.

A note of interest in case the drowning one is not the one I ran across  a death for a Wilfred Middleton age 97 years who died 1986 Black Diamond Alberta. That would make him born 1889

What information do you have that indicates he drowned.

Thanks Jool,

I believe Wilfred features in this set which I am hoping to shed more light on especially the circumstances of Wilfred's death in Canada.
