I have looked at the passport register at Kew. I did find my man, but there was no useful information at all, all it really told me was a name (which I knew) and a date of issue (which I knew). I berlieve sometimes useful nuggets of information are found, but from my experience and what I have read, I wouldn't recommend making a special journey to Kew for this purpose.

I'm writing my great grand aunt's story and trying to piece together how and when she went to Australia.  Thanks for your comments.
