If you have never found Elizabeth with Thomas and Mary, and you do not have her birth cert , then how do you know her mum was called Mary?
And, what is more, if you havent foind her marriage, how do you know her Dad was a Thomas!

I think you need to go one step at a time, and be especially careful checking each step as you go when you are dealing with common names such as Jones and Morgan in Wales!

What do you know, for sure, about Elizabeth? Where have you found her?
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

I tried sending a PM to you but there are limitations on your inbox because of how new you are to the site.

Are you certain you have the right death (the one that mentions Elizabeth?)

I've come across a census in Gelligaer for an Elizabeth Jones 1873 Gelligaer, who has parents Thomas and Mary A who are the same age as your two (but not the same family).  Is it possible that your mention of Elizabeth is actually this family?

Otherwise, if she was a pre-marriage child, hopefully following up the maiden name on Rees' birth cert will bring some answers.

Hi
Should this be under Caernarvonshire ?
There is a Lladeilo Fan in Carmarthenshire and Llandeilo'r Fan in Breconshire. Gelligaer is mentioned in a reply. I know of a place of that name near Merthyr Tydfil, as I have an interest in Rev David Evans M.A., past headmaster of Gelligaer Endowed School.
Please enlighten me.
Is there a mix up between 2 similar county names Carnarvonshire(as it was once spelt) and Carmarthenshire.
Emyr
