A Plymouth Hospital - First Aid Required!
« on: Monday 24 February 14 06:54 GMT (UK) »
A question regarding some initials which I believe was associated with a hospital in Plymouth in 1934. The letters seem to be S.A.? E.C. Where I have put the question mark may just be an ink blot on the page, and if so, it would be the S.A.E.C. Hospital. Or it may be a slash or an 'I'. I simply cannot tell from the original.

I have tried to search online for those initials, to no avail, so first hand knowledge may be best at this point, hence my message!

Thanks kindly!

Could it stand for South Devon and East Cornwall Hospital, Plymouth?

I think you may be correct Hampshire Lass. I have just looked again at the original and it's more than possible that what I thought was an 'A' is in fact a 'D'.

Brilliant! Awesome! Feeling much better now!  :D
